Stowe Insurance Agency was founded in 1955 by Charles F. Black, former Vermont Commission of Banking and Insurance, and was purchased by Peter M. Haslam, Sr, former Vice-President of Vermont Mutual Insurance Co, in 1969. Glenn C. Mink  purchased the agency from him upon his retirement in 1994.

We are a large independent agency located in central Vermont in the heart of ski country. We have three offices, located in Stowe (Stowe Insurance Agency), Johnson (Lamoille Valley Insurance), and Hardwick (Morse Insurance). Our talented and knowledgeable staff is eager to assist you with your insurance needs.

We represent many A rated insurance carriers and our service is second to none. Our staff is available twenty-four hours a day, 7 days a week and is ready to assist you if an emergency arises.

We are members of the Vermont Insurance Agents Association and the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America.
